Participants learn to relieve an obstructed airway. Participants also learn techniques for managing common illnesses and injuries specific to restaurants.

Course Content
This course is specifically designed to support dining facilities in complying with Massachusetts Food Establishment Regulation 105 CMR 590.009(E). This course teaches participants several tools for relieving an obstructed airway such as abdominal thrusts, back slaps, and chest compressions. In addition, participants learn techniques for managing common illnesses and injures specific to restaurants such as burns, bleeding, slips and falls, head injuries, injured limbs, and more.
